A whiteboard surface suitable for simultaneous projection and writing
Traditional glossy whiteboards have a surface gloss level (GS45) of around 110%, reflecting light from lamps and windows like a mirror. Students at various angles in the classroom see glare, causing eye fatigue.
The non-reflective enamel whiteboards from Japan's Uma Jirushi have a surface gloss level (GS45) below 23%, which not only prevents light reflections but also completely eliminates the glaring halo effect from projections.
The projection whiteboard integrates the whiteboard and projection screen into one.
This allows presenters/teachers to avoid worrying about pulling down screens—they can project and write anytime, greatly enhancing teaching convenience!
Previously, teaching and writing were done on the whiteboard. For projection, the projection screen was lowered.
If writing on the projected image was desired, the screen had to be rolled up first.
However, this resulted in reflections, making it difficult for students to see the image.
If the screen was forgotten and written on directly, it would immediately be marked, and the screen would have to be discarded because the marks couldn’t be erased.
Projection whiteboards are fixed in place, reducing wear and tear from frequent movement.
Additionally, Uma Jirushi uses enamel surfaces with a Mohs hardness of 5.5, which are more durable and harder than standard whiteboards!
